Mike’s Maple Porter

Maine in March means maple! At Sebago Brewing, we’re celebrating with a tasty new small batch beer called Mike’s Maple Porter.

We got the sweet stuff from Mike and Barbara Corliss’ sugar shack at Wintergreen Farm in Gorham. Not only are the Corlisses our neighbors, they do our landscaping and snow removal at the Sebago Brewing Tasting Room and Gorham Village brewpub!

Mike’s Maple Porter is served on nitro featuring 12 gallons of finished maple syrup. We used a whopping gallon of syrup for every keg in this batch giving this porter a maplewood earthy nose and flavor with a mouthfeel that is distinctly maple.

Wintergreen Farm will be participating in Maine Maple Weekend, Saturday 3/22 through Sunday 3/23. Visit the Corlisses, then go to any Sebago Brewing location for a footed glass of Mike’s Maple Porter. (Available while supplies last.)
